1. About the study

The School Leaders Survey is administered by EurekaFacts, an independent research firm, on behalf of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

2. What is the purpose of the study?

The purpose of this study is to identify areas of need, importance, and value among school leaders overall and with NASSP specifically. To accomplish this goal, NASSP is conducting a survey to obtain both members’ and nonmembers’ thoughts and feedback regarding what is most important among principals, assistant principals, and school administrators. The study will help create and/or tailor initiatives to better engage and serve school leaders across the nation.

3. How did you get my contact information?

You and other school leaders like yourself are among a select group of people invited to participate in this study because you have participated in NASSP-related events and/or are a current or previous member of the association.

4. How long will the survey take to complete?

The online survey is expected to take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

5. Will I receive an incentive for my time and effort?

The first 500 respondents who complete the survey will receive a $5 virtual gift card from NASSP.

6. What will happen to my responses?

Your answers will be aggregated with other responses for research purposes. Individual responses will not be linked to your name in any way.

7. Will my information be kept confidential?

Yes, all answers are kept completely confidential. At no time will any identifiable information be linked to any of your answers. Your name will not appear on the survey. Survey data and findings will only be reported anonymously and in aggregate form.

8. Will the results go to my place of work?

Your answers will not be disclosed to your school, company, or place of work and will not be linked to any personally identifiable information.

9. What is the duration of this study?

The survey will remain open for 3 weeks ending on October 18, 2019.
